State of the art PDF to DWG converter
ProgeCAD comes with a highly qualified module for PDF to DWG conversion. The module allows you to convert PDF files into editable DWG CAD drawings to be edited in your CAD software with support for layers. What is the difference between the ProgeCAD Network License and the Single User License?
When using the Network License you install a small ProgeCAD application on your network which handles the license keys. This application can either be installed on a server or on a computer. The important thing is that all ProgeCAD users on the network can access the application over the network. The number of licenses you have purchased sets the number of simultaneous ProgeCAD users you can have no matter of how many computers you have installed ProgeCAD onto.
Which License Key should I enter into my ProgeCAD version?
You should NOT enter a license key into your ProgeCAD on your computer when you have purchased a Network License. All Network License Keys purchased are to be entered into the server based application described above. Every time you start ProgeCAD on a computer on the network the program connects with the server application and accesses an available license key giving you access to the program.
How can I tell from my Licence Key if it is a Network or Single User License?
All ProgeCAD Network License Keys starts with the letters NLM.
What do I do if I need more Network Licenses?
If you got more concurrent ProgeCAD users than you have licenses on your network you need to purchase more licenses from us and then enter these into the server application.
How do I install the Network Licenses onto my network?
Getting started with the ProgeCAD Network Licenses is very simple. Before you start we recommend that you to watch this explanatory video of installation and license key registration for the ProgeCAD Network version. Please, also refer to this manual and have it nearby when you are conducting the installation process.
What is the difference between ProgeCAD and AutoCAD®?
As a user, it is hard to recognize any larger difference between AutoCAD® and ProgeCAD except from the price. ProgeCAD comes at a sufficiently lower price tag than AutoCAD®. In terms of functionality and look-and-feel the programs are hard to tell apart. Organizations worldwide have now realized this and are switching to ProgeCAD to free up their software license budgets.
Is there any other ownership costs related to ProgeCAD 2018? Is the license paid as an annual fee?
No, the license fee is a one-time cost and gives you access to the program in perpetuity. You can of course, at your discretion, decide that you want to upgrade to a new version when such is available. ProgeCAD doesn´t come with any hidden charges. As the program is easy to get started with for experienced AutoCAD® users the learning and support costs within your organization will be low.
Do I have to upgrade my ProgeCAD when a new version is available?
No, you do not have to upgrade your ProgeCAD 2018 version unless you want access to the new functionality. Among our current users we have noticed that several are still using 5 to 10 years old ProgeCAD versions and are extremely satisfied without upgrading.
